Conditions of business CollectPlaza Auctions – summary

Note: Only the Dutch text (“Algemene Voorwaarden”) is binding and has legal force.

General conditions

CollectPlaza Auctions undertake public auctions as agent on behalf of the seller.
Costs and commissions include all Dutch taxes, including VAT.
These Conditions of Business are subject to Dutch law, the Seller and the Buyer submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dutch courts.
Descriptions in the Catalog are made to the best knowledge and ability of the Auctionner, but there is no responsibility either to the Buyer nor the the Seller.

Conditions for the Buyer

Bids generally start at 80% of the Estimate, lower bids are not accepted.
The Auctioneer is entitled to refuse admission to the Auction location and to refuse bids.
In addition to the Hammer Price, the Buyer must pay the Buyers’s premium at a rate of 20% of the Hammer Price, this includes all Dutch taxes.
Payment has to be made in full before the Lot will be released to the Buyer, this includes all costs like bank transfer costs, insurance and postage.
If the Buyer fails to payment as agreed an interest of 2% per month or part thereof will be applicable.
Forgeries can be returned not later than 14 days after the Sale. Items in Lots with three or more entities cannot be guaranteed. All Lots will be sold “as is”.

Conditions for the Seller

Seller must pay a premium at a rate of 20% of the Hammer Price this includes all Dutch taxes. Additional costs like costs for certification to be paid by the Seller.
All Lots are insured against fires, theft and during transport to and from the Auction location.
